Amiro is only for people aged 18 and over, but adults bring their children to kids meetups. We do not tolerate child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form, and we act immediately when we learn of such content or behavior.
18 and up only
You must be at least 18 to sign up. We ask for your date of birth at sign-in and don't let younger people in. We delete accounts of people under 18 when we learn of them. Children only come to meetups with their own adults, at kids meetups.
What is prohibited
- Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including drawn or AI-generated material.
- Grooming: trying to befriend a minor, persuade them to meet, or engage them in sexual conversation.
- Meetups whose description or chat sexualizes minors.
How to report
In the app: open the profile, meetup or message → ⋯ → Report → Harm to minors. We review these reports first. Without the app, email safety@amiroapp.com.
What we do
- We hide the content and ban the account immediately.
- We preserve the data needed for an investigation.
- We report CSAM to NCMEC and to Argentine law enforcement.
Legal compliance
We comply with child protection laws in the countries where Amiro operates and cooperate with law enforcement.
