These terms are an agreement between you and Amiro. We've tried to keep them in plain language. By using the app, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Amiro is an app where people create meetups around shared interests and sign up for them. We provide a place to connect, but we don't organize the meetups ourselves: our users do.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18. One person, one account, and the phone number must be yours. We may ask you to confirm it again.
3. Meetups and minimum attendance
Hosts set the place, time and the minimum and maximum number of attendees. If the minimum isn't reached by the deadline, the meetup is cancelled automatically and everyone who joined is notified.
- When you join, you commit to showing up or cancelling in advance.
- Hosts can see late cancellations and no-shows, and they affect your reputation in the app.
- Hosts can change or cancel a meetup — we notify attendees right away.
4. Money
Amiro is free to use. If a meetup has costs (a café entry fee, renting a court), the host lists them on the card and attendees pay on site. We don't process payments between users and aren't responsible for refunds.
5. Safety at meetups
We don't verify users' identities and we aren't present at meetups. Choose public places, let someone you trust know where you're going, and leave if something feels off. Report any problem through the app.
6. Community Guidelines
By using the app, you agree to follow the Community Guidelines. If you break them, we may hide content, limit features or suspend your account.
7. Your content
Your photos, meetup descriptions and messages remain yours. You allow us to show them to other users within Amiro while your account is active.
8. Suspension and deletion
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend an account for serious or repeated violations, and we'll tell you why.
9. Liability
The app is provided “as is”. We aren't responsible for how users behave at meetups or for a meetup not taking place, but we help with every report.
10. Changes to these terms
We'll let you know about significant changes in the app in advance. If you don't agree with the new terms, you can delete your account.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Please write to us first — most issues can be resolved by message.
