In short

What data we collect
- Phone number — to sign in with a code.
- Profile: name, username, photo, bio, date of birth, city and interests.
- Your free time, if you mark it in the Buddies section.
- Meetups, sign-ups, invites and messages in meetup chats.
- Location — only when you share a pin in a chat.
- Messages you send us through "Write to us", with the app version and the screen you wrote from.
- Technical data: device model, app version and a token for push notifications.
Why we need it
So you can sign in, see meetups in your city, join them, talk to other attendees and get reminders. And so we can handle reports and protect the community.

Who we share data with
Only with services the app can't work without: database hosting, an SMS provider to send codes, and Expo, Apple and Google for push notifications. We don't sell data or share it with ad networks.
How long we keep it
- Account and profile — for as long as you use the app.
- Meetup chat — 6 months after the meetup.
- After you delete your account, your data is erased within 30 days, except what we're legally required to keep.
Your rights
You can find out what data we hold about you, correct it or delete it in Settings or by emailing privacy@amiroapp.com. You can also contact the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP), Argentina's data protection authority.
Age requirement
Amiro is for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.
