Amiro works as long as people trust each other: they show up, treat each other kindly and are honest about who they are. These guidelines are about keeping it that way.
Be yourself
- Your real name and your own photo on your profile.
- One account per person, and no pretending to be someone else.
Respect others
- No insults, harassment, threats or discrimination based on nationality, gender, orientation, age, religion or appearance.
- Don't push if someone doesn't reply or has said no.
- Don't post other people's personal details or photos without their consent.
Show up or cancel early
The host and other attendees are counting on you. If your plans change, cancel as early as you can. Frequent late cancellations and no-shows limit your ability to join new meetups.
Meetups are about interests, not sales
- No advertising, spam, multi-level marketing or collecting contacts.
- No paid dating or sexual services.
- Paid meetups only with an honest price on the card.
Safety first
- Meetups involving violence, weapons, drugs or other illegal activity are not allowed.
- Amiro is open to people aged 18 and over, but adults bring their children to kids meetups. We remove any content that harms or sexualizes minors and permanently ban the account. Learn more in our Child Safety Standards.
How to report
Open the person's profile, the meetup or the message and tap ⋯ → Report. Reports are anonymous: the other person won't know who sent it. We review every report.
What happens if you break the rules
- First minor violation
- a warning
- Repeated violation
- a 7-day restriction
- Serious violation
- a permanent ban
